The author shows how the Russian philosophers’ views on the right have developed over the period of several centuries (before the beginning of 20th century). Based on the analysis of the works of eminent thinkers in each period, the author concludes that conception of the right formed in Russian philosophical thought differs fundamentally from European one. According to the author, crucial aspect of understanding and interpretation of the right in Russian philosophy was its consideration in correlation with human destiny and life. The author has noted that the most important contribution of Russian philosophers in understanding of the right was the substantiation of its links not just with social relations regulation but also with the organization of communities of people, of society as a whole.
