The authors did show peculiarities and execution sequence of students’ independent work “Calculation of a Torsional Micromirror” with use of electronic component implemented at Technical Mechanics Department for second-year students. The students are offered a speech video as illustrative example of computational and graphic work. The authors have presented a sequence of calculations with pre-assigned dimensions of micromirror elements: determination of torsions’ parameters, of dynamic overload ratio, of micromirror and mirror elements’ resonant frequency and of micromirror deflection within operating temperature range.
Keywords: students’ independent work; electronic component; computational and graphic work; micromirror; frame; torsion; mechanical stress; dynamism ratio; fundamental frequency.
