This article presents a study of politics and religion, which seeks to bring them out of the relationship of two irreconcilable antagonists, entrenched in their relationship for a long time. This study is aimed at demonstrating the continuity and complementarity of these two spheres of human activity. The teaching of Jesus, recorded in the Bible, is not only a source of spiritual wisdom and enlightenment, but also a very valuable practical guide in matters of governance, doing business at the state level, economic, social, political and other important issues. The present study seeks to prove and substantiate the presence of political and managerial motives in the teaching of Jesus Christ. The structure of the work is a consistent analysis of the political and managerial aspects in the teaching of Jesus, their difference from Christianity in its modern incarnation; the political position of Jesus himself regarding public administration, laws, power, political principles; the significance of Jesus’ teaching for the development and improvement of modern political and public administration. As a result of the conducted research, it was concluded that the principles formulated by Jesus are capable of harmoniously entering into the managerial model of a modern state
