Conservatism and Liberalism’s Worldview Contradictions Manifestation in Approaches to the Great Patriotic War Estimation

The author analyzed the contradiction formed because of attempts to reconsider the aftermath of the Great Patriotic War. Besides geopolitical aspect the liberalism and conservatism’s worldview confrontment was traced. The author states that cultural and historical traditions preservation are of fundamental value for the conservative worldview, whereas the liberal one denies the tradition completely and emphasizes the minorities’ interests.
