The article is devoted to the historical analysis of the role of European States, the United States and the Russian Federation in the process of the collapse of Yugoslavia. The authors consider the chronological sequence of events around Yugoslavia in the 90s, the participation of international organizations at various levels and their contribution to the beginning of the division of Yugoslavia.
