The article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of information technologies on human life. The article proves that modern technologies make a person programmed, since getting into a network circulation, he becomes a part of it, which leads to a mixture of real and virtual, real and fictional. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of modern scientific research, which substantiate the process of degradation of human consciousness under the influence of long-term communication with a computer, when a person loses his true essence. It is concluded that the main global problem of the modern information society is the problem of human ecology and his consciousness.
