The most significant shifts in the current dynamics of international trade against the background of increasing turbulence in the modern world economic evolution are considered. The focus of the study is on the changes in the recovery period (2021) after the global crisis situation associated with the widespread spread of viral infection, the adoption of protective measures in many countries of the world. The latest data on trends in global commodity trade at the stage of the post-crisis “rebound” of 2021 are presented. The article shows the main changes in the sphere of export-import activities of the leading subjects of international exchange, among which the Russian Federation has achieved notable positive results. The analysis undertaken by the author was based on the methodology of comparative statistical research using the recently published latest official statistical materials and calculated author’s data, introduced into Russian scientific circulation for the first time.
