The article is devoted to the use of design research tools in the development of an innovative digital product. The authors use empathy maps and user path as design research tools. The results of the research are processed and visualized using software products that are publicly available on external digital platforms. During the study, the authors have developed an online application “Nourished Student” that automates catering services in the university.
