The author reflects on the personality and work of Pavel Florensky, outlining by dotted line a range of fundamental issues presented in any form of cultural-historical being discussed in historical and philosophical reflection of spiritual content. It is shown that the universal forms of human activities remain a central part of any culture and set the scale of attitude towards any of its manifestations: from the engineering to the Lord God, from artificial intelligence to the human soul, and are a point of attraction for philosophical thought as well as for religious consciousness. The author has denoted the problem of the absolute content in the forms of human thinking, and through it the problem of truth with its value for understanding of freedom and creativity.
