The features of communicative design are revealed as a way of integrating knowledge in the act of artistic representation of signifi cant relationships and patterns. It is argued that the use of visual forms in philosophy captures students’ attention to the dialectical relationship, the consistency of ideal objects. It is indicated that visual-semantic coding of knowledge aff ects the formation of creative imagination. It is argued that the communicative design is in demand in the technologies of teaching philosophy, since the development of the emotional culture of a person remains an urgent problem of education and self-realization of students. The research methodology is based on the dialectical relationship of the fi gurative and symbolic forms of external objects and the internal experiences of the recipient, the synthesis of which forms a deep non-conceptual comprehension of the visualization object.
