The author makes an attempt, based on the sociological approach to the philosophy of Randall Collins as well as the works of N. S. Rozov and V. I. Krasikov, to comprehend phenomena important for any intellectual tradition: the formation and dynamics of ideas. The author did note the relevance of the appeal to the sociological approach, on the basis of which Collins presented innovations. It is determined that the intellectual life associated with the formation and subsequent existence of ideas in time and contexts is determined not so much by external factors as by internal characteristics of one’s own existence. Defining general scientific grounds, the author has made an appeal to philosophical communication understood as the time-varying competitive network environment of intellectual interaction, the development of ideas and the theoretical-philosophical exchange. This approach is based on the understanding of philosophy as a reflection of intellectual phenomena and processes that play an important role in the social sphere and form the intellectual paradigm of the era. In conclusion, the author has established that philosophical ideas about the various objects of their understanding are a set of interactive rituals, united in a chain that constitutes socio-political reality.
