Livestock Production Efficiency (Evidence from the Belgorod Region)

The author did analyze statistical data on agricultural products since the end of 1990s in Belgorod region, a territory with one of most well-developed rural sector and rich traditions of beef and dairy cattle production. The author did mark tendencies of agricultural production level change. Based on survey of official acts determining agriculture goals and direction for last ten to fifteen years, the author did make a conclusion about significant role of government assistance in Belgorod region’s agro-industrial complex success.
