The authors discuss the actuality of diversification in modern economics for improving business performance. They present the analysis of different factors and application conditions of diversification and also mark the paths of development on basis of diversification and stress the need to increase the diversified company’s investment attractiveness. The authors articulate the concepts of related and unrelated diversification and accentuate key benefits the company gets as a result of diversification-based strategy.
