Problems and Factors of Decision-Making in the Design of Bering Strait Crossing

The author considers the purpose and history of construction project of a tunnel connecting Eurasia and North America by transcontinental multifold including high-speed electrified railway, power transmission lines, telecommunication circuits etc. Based on marketing analysis the author did expose economic, geopolitical, social and engineering problems and did systematize the factors affecting the decisionmaking at Bering Strait crossing project realization. The author did show the techno-engineering, organizational and financial problems domination. He has systematized a complex of main affecting factors that favor the project realization, namely: organizational and legal; technical and engineering; social and economic; managerial and related to resources.
