The author studies the spreading of Western ideas and way of life to psychology and behavioral models of the Russian nobility in the first quarter of the 18th century, considering the Western European influence on nobility’s consciousness changes. The author did analyze the process of Russian society’s traditional isolation destruction, marking the transformation of such values as “paternal honor” and “high-ranking honor”. The author did consider Western European ideas embodied in the Russian legislation (“Order of ranks”). It is noted that the nobles diligently performed diplomatic service at the European court of justice and represented Russian interests at the proper level.
