The authors consider the technology of carrying out seminar in the form of business game for the first-year students of economics department studying the higher mathematics affirming that business game as interactive education form is one of methods of competence-based approach realization in education. They discuss tasks, requirements, carrying out conditions, preparation of this form of seminar, and also teacher’s skills and qualities necessary for successful work with interactive technologies. The authors have submitted a scenario of carrying out business game on the “Finance Mathematics” subject.
