The author takes gnosiological studies of René Descartes, examines the mechanisms of human cognitive activities, as well as the features of specific learning method proposed by Descartes. The author explores the components of cognitive activity which, according to Descartes, are of Divine origin. In this study the aspects of Christian ethical concepts that have obvious points of contact with gnosiological studies of Descartes were analyzed and the conclusion was made about this contact’s multivercity.
