The author analyzes relations and ratios of exact mathematical knowledge and art revealed in the framework of various scientific researches and interdisciplinary searches carried out by 20th century scientists. The author did mark the use of two main groups of methods in the study of art and creativity: mathematical modeling and mathematical statistics. The author has emphasized the significance of quantitative relations’ studies in different types of art, such as poetics, architecture and sculpture, to identify universal patterns of art construction. The author has shown the expansion of the use of categories of esthetics and art studies for the description and knowledge of mathematical categories.
