The authors discuss features of the course project “Methods of analysis and forecasting of time series” with the use of the electronic component of independent work of second-year students of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law of MIET. Students are offered to use as an electronic component the training work developed by the authors in simulating time series with given properties and a mathematical statistics training test, as well as methodological materials such as video lectures, electronic textbooks on probability theory and mathematical statistics. The authors have given examples of setting the task and preparing the course work of theoretical information, as well as training work, and have noted the advantages of the project activity using the electronic component.
