Since the lifestyle and health condition of a large part of young people cause serious concern today, the author considers physical culture as factor of personality socialization and self-improvement tool. The author discusses the use of innovative methods in the practice of physical education and proves that they are able to reverse the situation, to change the attitude and motivation of students to exercise, to create a mindset to be cognizant of the fact that physical culture and sports are of vital importance.
