The author has substantiated the necessity to systematize the undergraduates’ knowledge on the subject of physics. The author summarizes universal principles that enable students to develop skills in solving physical problems, discussing the primary importance of correct formulations of physical laws and the reasonable choice of abstract model, and also role of mathematical tools in forming such skills, emphasizing the efficiency of system approach to the solution of physical tasks, to the analysis of sense of the received result.
