The author gives brief characteristic to rational approach in scientific knowledge. He notes the change of anthropocentric attitude’s role in modern science resulting from expanding progress in science and technology and human activity globalization; then substantiates the necessity to shift the cognitive activity orientation towards biospherocentrism.
Through the example of global warming phenomenon study the author considers the irrational approach manifestation in cognition, or the paradoxal rationality.
