The article is devoted to the approbation of the effectiveness of the project method usage in the foreign language study. The method is based on the research work of students, grouped by general topic specified by the teacher. The project method is understood as the way of organizing the educational process based on the interaction of teacher and learners during sequential practical activities, which provides student-centered education, based on the consideration of the peculiarities of students’ individual development, gives the opportunity to learn a foreign language using information and computer technologies during the project preparation.
