Abstract. The author of the article analyzes the state policy in the field of labor migration, as well as assesses the measures taken by Executive authorities to regulate public relations in this segment; a review of the labor market in the Russian Federation among labor migrants is proposed, based on statistics from recent years; considers the specifics of implementing the quota institution in relation to labor relations established between employers and labor migrants; identifies ways to implement migration labor policy taking into account modern socio-economic realities.
