The article presents a theoretical analysis of the system of researchers’ views on economic phenomena that change under the influence of complexity, uncertainty and acceleration of the business environment and objects within it. It is noted that the analogy in the application of the biological approach to the business sphere has led in recent decades to the growing need for the concepts of business ecosystems, the need to study new ways, mechanisms and tools for analyzing business processes that develop during the interaction of economic agents in modern economic conditions.
