In 2016, Russia marks the 250th anniversary of Nikolai Karamzin (1766—1826), key personality of Russian philosophy of history. On November 17 to 18 the Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Science (Moscow), held the international scientific conference in the frame of World Philosophy Day arranged to coincide with Karamzin’s birth day. Russian and foreign philosophers, historians, political scientists and literary historians who participated in this event have shown the meaning of Karamzin’s creative legacy for various departments of humanities
knowledge.
For the second time Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts did run an international conference that welcomed researchers to discuss ethical, theoretical and practical questions of cultural monuments refurbishment and preservation, of cultural heritage sites expert evaluation and conservation, and also educational problems arising in the field of restoration work. This scientific event was held in Saint Petersburg and its famous suburb Peterhof on October 12 to 13.
There is brief account of the conference held in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, September 1st to 3rd. Center for Culture and Cultural Studies this year aimed its conference at underlying the different theoretical discourses that approach the subject of migrations from several various aspects, including: the polarization of the world; the threats to peace and security; issues tied to global diversity; socio-economic inequalities; cultural shifts, etc. Russian delegation did present 15 reports embracing ethnocultural, politological, linguistic, artistic, and pedagogical views on the MDTB problems.
